2 cups flour
1 cup walnuts, ground
2 cups sugar
1 cup Lucini® Organic Limited Reserve™ Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons cinnamon, ground
1/2 teaspoon allspice
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon ginger
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Zest of 2 oranges
1/2 teaspoon salt
Preheat oven 350 degrees Combine the flour, nuts, sugar, oil, and eggs mix well. Add the baking soda, spices, vanilla, zest, and salt, mix well. Place in a well greased 9 inch cake pan. Bake about 50 minutes until when inserted with a knife it has moist crumbs on it. Remove from the oven and cool. Turn over on a plate. Dust with powdered sugar and serve with sweetened yogurt.
Accompanied with Sweetened Yogurt: 1 cup yogurt mixed with organic sugar to taste. Mix well and serve with warm cake.
