Spring Flowers Pizza
It’s Spring! And flowers are beginning to pop up all around- including on our pizza!
This delicious pizza recipe uses an easy homemade pesto as a base and
mozzarella cheese pearls to make the sweetest and tastiest flowers you ever did
see. Drizzle California Olive Ranch’s Jalapeño Herb Oil to finish it off and enjoy.
Ingredients
- Pizza dough of choice
 - 1/2 a cup of pesto- store bought or homemade California Olive Ranch Pesto recipe here if you’d like
 - 8oz fresh mozzarella cheese pearls
 - 1 head of broccolini
 - 2oz prosciutto
 - 2 tablespoons California Olive Ranch Jalapeño Herb Chef’s Bottle Oil, plus more for serving
 - Dried pepper flakes (optional)
 
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450F
 - Stretch and shape your pizza dough
 - Evenly spread pesto sauce as pizza base
 - Place mozzarella pearls in the shape of flower petals
 - Twirl a piece of prosciutto into a ball and place in the center of mozzarella pearls as the pistil (flower center)
 - Slice broccolini into bite sized pieces and scatter around the pizza
 - Drizzle California Olive Ranch Jalapeño Herb Chef’s Bottle Oil over all broccolini
 - Bake pizza in preheated oven for 20 minutes
 - Top pizza with another drizzle of California Olive Ranch Jalapeño Herb Oil before serving
