Seared Dates with Ice Cream, Olive Oil, and Mint


(quantities dependent on volume)


  1. Bring a small cast iron skillet to medium heat and add olive oil

  2. Cut dates partially in half lengthwise

  3. Add dates to skillet cut side facing down and sear until fragrant and slightly browned

  4. Use dates as a garnish on ice cream with fresh mint and lastly, apply olive oil, and finishing salt if you choose.
