Loaded Caesar Wedge Salad

Wedge salads are all the rage these days and it’s easy to see why. Easy to assemble, easy to eat and easy to share. This recipe is a spin on the classic caesar salad, extra loaded version. Fresh, crisp romaine hearty bacon, bright cherry tomatoes and creamy avocado. Drizzled with California Olive Ranch’s Caesar Vinaigrette Dressing, this is the perfect salad to bring to a barbecue or on a summer’s picnic.


  • 1 head fresh romaine lettuce

  • 1 large, ripe avocado, thinly sliced

  • 1 package bacon of your choice

  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes sliced lengthwise

  • 1 cup croutons

  • California Olive Ranch Caesar Vinaigrette

  • Fresh brick of parmesan, for grating


  1. Wash and separate romaine into individual leaves

  2. Cook bacon thoroughly and gently pat dry. Let cool slightly

  3. Slice avocado and cherry tomatoes

  4. Assemble bacon, avocado, and tomatoes on romaine leaves

  5. Top with croutons, freshly grated parmesan cheese and a healthy drizzle of California Olive Ranch’s Caesar Vinaigrette
