Our favorite deli sandwich is dip-ified! This fully loaded appetizer has all of the elements of a traditional hoagie plus it’s spoonable and shareable! This one-bowl recipe can easily be prepped ahead of time by mixing in the lettuce right before serving.
- 1 medium tomato, chopped
½ cup hot soppressata, chopped
½ cup prosciutto, chopped
½ cup provolone, chopped
½ cup salami, chopped
½ cup sliced banana peppers
1-2 tbsp red onion, thinly sliced
½ tsp dried basil
½ tsp dried oregano
⅓ cup mayo
1 tbsp red wine vinegar
2 cups of romaine, finely chopped
Bread bowl or crostini for serving
In a large bowl, toss all ingredients except for mayonnaise. Stir to combine. Add mayo and stir again until evenly coated. Fold in lettuce.
Serve in a bread bowl or with crostini alongside. Enjoy!
