Fig, Prosciutto & Brie Flatbread
This flatbread is so simple in its ingredients and so easy to make, yet so mindblowingly delicious. It’s the perfect thing to make as an appetizer for a fall dinner party, or to pack along on that last picnic of the season. With sweet, caramelized figs, hearty prosciutto and a slight tang from the cream cheese base, it satisfies every note.
Ingredients
- 4-5 black mission figs, sliced, quartered and halved
- 2 teaspoons fresh thyme leaves
- 5oz. Brie cheese
- 3oz prosciutto
- 2-3 tablespoons cream cheese
- 13-16 oz pizza or flat bread dough
- 1 tablespoon raw honey
- 1/2 teaspoon flaky salt
- 3 tablespoons California Olive Ranch Arbequina EVOO
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350F
- Line a baking tray with parchment paper, spread dough evenly out onto it.
- Spread cream cheese in an even layer over dough.
- Place chunks of brie and fresh fig and prosciutto around flatbread
- Top with fresh thyme leaves, flaky salt and raw honey
- Brush edges of flatbread with California Olive Ranch Arbequina EVOO
- Place flatbread in preheated oven and bake for 35-40 minutes until cheese is bubbling and crust is light golden brown
- Drizzle with more California Olive Ranch Arbequina EVOO and enjoy
