Citrus, Avocado & Lemon Balsamic Salad

Bright and refreshing, this winter citrus salad pairs juicy citrus with creamy avocado and toasted nuts for a dish that feels light yet satisfying. Finished with California Olive Ranch Lemon Balsamic Vinaigrette, it’s a simple, vibrant salad perfect for January meals.

Ingredients

  • 3–4 citrus fruits (such as oranges, blood oranges, grapefruit, tangerine)

  • 2 ripe avocados

  • ¼ small red onion, thinly sliced

  • ¼ cup toasted nuts (almonds, pistachios, or walnuts)

  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper

  • California Olive Ranch Lemon Balsamic Vinaigrette

Instructions

  1. Prepare the citrus. Peel citrus and slice into rounds or supremes, removing any seeds.

  2. Slice the avocados. Halve, pit, and slice avocados.

  3. Assemble the salad. Arrange citrus and avocado on a platter. Scatter red onion and toasted nuts over the top.

4. Dress and serve. Drizzle with California Olive Ranch Lemon Balsamic Vinaigrette. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste. Serve immediately.
