Caramelized Plum & Herby Brie Crostini

There’s nothing as good and easy as a crostini to prepare for a gathering. This recipe marries bright plum, caramelized sweet onion and creamy brie- highlighting all of the best flavors summer has to offer in one bite. Topped with fresh greens, California Olive Ranch’s Chef’s Bottle Medium and raw honey- your tastebuds will be truly tantalized. So drizzle away and dig in! No utensils required.


  • 1 baguette, sliced into 1/2 inch rounds

  • 4 ripe plums, chopped

  • 1 sweet onion, sliced thinly

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 2 tablespoons butter

  • 5oz brie of your choice

  • 1/2 cup fresh baby greens, roughly chopped

  • 4-5 tablespoons California Olive Ranch Chef’s Bottle Medium

  • Drizzle of raw honey (optional)


1. Preheat your oven to broil at 500F

2. In a skillet on medium/high heat, add in butter, sliced onion and salt. Sauté for 3-4 minutes

3. Lower skillet heat to medium and add in sliced plum. Sauté for another 5 minutes

4. Place sliced baguette rounds onto a baking tray

5. Add a smear of brie to each baguette

6. Top each baguette with your caramelized onion and plum

7. Place Crostinis in oven for 5 minutes

8. Remove Crostinis from oven and top with baby greens, a generous drizzle of California Olive Ranch Chef’s Bottle and honey if using

9. Serve immediately
