Baked Sea Salt and Chocolate Granola Clusters
This healthy, crunchy and sweet treat is all you need to get yourself through the day! These Baked Sea Salt and Chocolate Granola Clusters are the perfect healthy snack to grab on the go to satisfy that sweet tooth you can’t get rid of!
2 cups rolled oats
1 cup slivered almonds
1 cup chopped pecans
1 tsp cinnamon
⅓ cup honey
1 tbsp vanilla extract
½ tsp sea salt
For the chocolate drizzle:
½ cup chocolate chips
½ tsp California Olive Ranch’s Arbequina Reserve Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Preheat your oven to 300 degrees.
In a large mixing bowl, add your dry ingredients and stir together.
In a microwave-safe bowl, add your extra virgin olive oil and honey and whisk together. Microwave for 60 seconds (or until warm). Add vanilla and whisk.
Pour the wet ingredients over the dry ingredients and mix until everything is evenly distributed. Pour granola onto baking sheet and spread into an even layer. Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges start to get a little color.
Let granola dry entirely for at least 30 minutes. Scrape pan with a spatula and break into clusters.
Add your chocolate chips and extra virgin olive oil into a small microwave-safe bowl and melt in the microwave in 30 second increments. Once melted, drizzle chocolate over your granola clusters and sprinkle with sea salt. Let chocolate harden in a cool place before storing in an air-tight container. Enjoy!
