Baked Brie Recipe
Warm gooey brie meets honey, chili flakes, and garlic and herbs that have been slow roasted to perfection in extra virgin olive oil. Need we say more? This delightful appetizer is a guaranteed hit.
Ingredients
- 10 cloves of garlic
- 1 tsp peppercorns
- 4-5 sprigs of thyme
- 3 sprigs rosemary
- 6-8 sage leaves
- 1 cup California Olive Ranch Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 wheel of brie
- 1 tbsp Honey
- ½ tsp chili flakes
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 300 degrees.
Place a wheel of brie on an aluminum foil or parchment-lined baking sheet. Use a pairing knife to score criss-crossing lines into the top. Set aside for now.
In a small baking dish, add the garlic, peppercorns, thyme, rosemary, sage, and California Olive Ranch Extra Virgin Olive oil. Bake for about 30 minutes, then turn up the oven temperature to 350 degrees.
Add the brie to the oven and bake for 15 minutes. Remove both the brie and olive oil mixture and let cool until safe to handle.
Place your baked brie on a serving board. Drizzle with the olive oil, and top with the slow roasted garlic and herbs. Drizzle on the honey and sprinkle on the chili flakes. Serve immediately with bread or crackers and enjoy!
